Q. What is your Inclement Weather Policy?

During inclement weather, if your dog walking services or visits are not essential OR you are changing your plans to stay in town or stay home from work, please let us know so we can make other arrangements.

If you live in an area where our walker cannot reach your home safely, because of poor road conditions, pet care services will not be provided. You will receive an email notification if this happens.

If it takes our walker additional time to reach your home due to road issues, lack of cleared access area, etc, the additional time will be counted as part of your walking time. If this happens, we will notify you within 12 hours via email. Example: If it normally takes a walker 15 minutes to reach your home and because of snow and ice, it takes the walker 30 minutes to reach your home, your visit will be shortened by 15 minutes to make up the difference in driving time. Your animal will still get the potty break they need. This policy is the only way our walkers can keep on schedule when bad weather strikes to ensure all of our clients at least get a 10-15 minute potty break on these challenging days.

Q. Is my deposit refundable?

If for some reason you end up not using our services after you completed an Intake meeting and gave us a deposit, you can request a refund within 60 days.  After 60 days your deposit will remain active on your account and will not expire.

Q. Why do you require two keys to my home?

We ask that you provide us with two keys to your hope in case of any unforeseen circumstances.  We always keep one key in our locked box in the office.  The other key is usually kept by the primary Pet PAL assigned to work with you and your pet.  If your primary Pet PAL can’t complete the visit for any reason, we’ve still got it covered.  We can simply assign your visit to another Pet PAL, and they can retrieve your backup key from the office and perform the visit as planned.

 

Q. When is payment due?

We require a $100 deposit once you decide to schedule services.  This money goes as a credit onto your account.  As we provide services we will pull from this initial amount until it is depleted.  After the initial deposit is used, we will bill you on a weekly or bimonthly schedule.  We prefer to send invoices via email but can send via USPS if you prefer.  We require payment within 7 days of billing.

If you opt for a daily or weekly scheduled service we can setup auto bill/pay if you prefer.

 

Q. What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, Check, Credit Card-we accept all major forms of payment.

 

Q. How do I sign up for services?

When you are ready to sign up for our in home dog training services all you need to do is call or email to setup an intake appointment.  We are very flexible and can work around your schedule. If you are having an emergency we will make every effort to coordinate a quick, bare bones intake, to allow us to help you immediately.  For example, if you are having a pet emergency and require transportation assistance immediately, we can go over releases upon our arrival and wait until the emergency is resolved to complete a more thorough intake.

 

Q. Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?

Happy Paws and all of its employees are bonded and insured.

 

Q. Do you have references?

Absolutely!  We can provide you with as many references as you’d like!  Just ask.

 

Q. How much do you charge?

Since our services are unique in that we are dedicated to provide services that are individualized based on the needs of you and your pets needs, our prices vary.  Our services start at $20.  We can add additional time and make adjustments as needed.  When you call to schedule your intake, we can go over some basic prices and services.  During the intake we can give you a more precise quote once we know what you require.

 

Q. What areas do you serve?

Our goal is to provide our services to the Greater Cincinnati area.  We currently service many areas within the 275 loop.

Q. What services do you offer?

We offer whatever services you need!  Seriously, we do.  Well, maybe not everything.  We DON’T offer boarding or day care.  We DO offer services that can be provided while keeping your pet at home.  We offer dog walks, in-home pet sitting, transport to/from vet appointments, dog training, grooming, dog parks, (you get the picture), interstate transport, medical care, poop scooping, the sky is the limit.  Give us a call to discuss your specific pet care needs and services.
